A board certified physician in Internal Medicine & Geriatrics, Rabbi Dr. Glassman taught clinical geriatrics at both Harvard and Tufts Medical Schools in Boston after his fellowship in geriatrics in Boston.
Prior to medical specialization, he studied at Yeshiva Shalom Rav in Tzfat, he served in the IDF medical corps as a lieutenant deep in the Negev. and served as the chief house physician in a continuous care retirement community in Hod HaSharon, Israel.
This was followed by a directorship in clinical diabetes research at Hadassah Ein Kerem University Medical Center in Jerusalem. And, while in Jerusalem, he trained as a certified mohel by Rabbi Yehuda Giat of Mercaz HaRav.
He received rabbinical ordination from Rabbi Dovid Shochet of Toronto, after having been taught by Rabbi Nachman Wilhelm at Yeshivas Hilchos Olam.
Rabbi Dr. Glassman writes for, and has appeared in several features in OU, Hidabroot, Baltimore Jewish Times, Jewish Advocate, the NJ Jewish Link, and The Jewish Journal, among others for his work in integrative and preventive geriatrics. Additionally, he was recently featured on USA Today, the cover of Ami Magazine and on i24 News for his work fighting for the rights of older and frail patients in the state of New Jersey.
