Rabbi Steven Burg is the Chief Executive Officer of Aish, an international movement which services millions of Jews around the world. From his office overlooking the Western Wall at the Aish World Center in Jerusalem, Rabbi Burg oversees the many inspirational programs that Aish conducts in dozens of languages. He constantly travels the world to inspire communities with Jewish values and wisdom.
Prior to coming to Aish, Rabbi Burg served as the Eastern Director of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, where he contributed to the fight against anti-Semitism and oversaw the Museum of Tolerance in New York City. Previously, he served as the Managing Director of the Orthodox Union (OU), and as International Director of NCSY, the largest international Jewish youth movement. Rabbi Burg founded the Jewish Student Union (JSU), a network of hundreds of public high school clubs that teach unaffiliated Jewish teens about their heritage, and the Anne Samson Jerusalem Journey (TJJ), an Israel experience for unaffiliated Jewish teens.
Rabbi Burg is a seasoned and popular speaker, a guest commentator on FoxNews, Newsmax, a columnist at Jewish News Syndicate, and has been published in the Jerusalem Post, The Times of Israel, The Jewish Week and many other publications.
