Sailing to the Greek Isles with Kosherica is one of the most magical experiences you can have on a glatt kosher vacation. The islands, the landscapes, the history and of course, the food, are not to be missed.
Our summer 2021 Kosherica Greek Isles sailing starts on Sunday in Athens, Greece. We will arrange a pre-cruise Shabbat hosted by the Chabad in Athens for those guests that want to arrive into Greece ahead of time. We will arrange a pre-cruise tour of Athens which will visit the Jewish sites as well as the secular landmarks which will also allow our guests time to tour this beautiful island before embarking onto the stunning NCL Pearl – one of finest in the NCL fleet of ships.
The next port on this magical tour is a morning stop in Kusadasi, Turkey where our guests can choose to explore this beautiful island on their own or choose one of the amazing excursions that NCL has to offer. The best part is that you will get back to the ship just in time for a mouth-watering glatt kosher lunch buffet with a beautiful array of fresh fish, pasta stations, pizza, a huge salad bar, fresh-baked breads and sweet desserts.
On that same day (Monday) the ship will have an additional afternoon/evening stop in Patmos, Greece where our guests can enjoy the incredibly clear waters and stunning beaches.
On Tuesday we will arrive in Rhodes where there is actually a Jewish community with a beautiful museum. We will give our guests the information to visit this amazing place while touring this beautiful island full of ancient castles and beautiful sites.
After a long day on land, you will of course enjoy a 5-star glatt kosher dinner which is not to be believed. Choices of hot and cold appetizers, soup, salad, five varieties of main course options and decadent dessert. You will sleep well and be ready for your next day of touring.
The next stop is Mykonos, Greece which is one of the most famous Greek islands offering stunning beaches, beautiful nature and picturesque villages. The history and the beauty of this island are truly magical.
On Thursday our ship will arrive in Kefalonia, Greece for the day where the architecture is truly breathtaking. It is a lively town with much to see and beautiful beaches ready for you to relax and unwind as we reach the mid-way point of this incredible kosher vacation of a lifetime.
Friday you will spend the day in Corfu, Greece and embark with plenty of time to get ready for a beautiful Shabbat with Kosherica. A beautiful davening will be following by an incredible shabbat dinner filled with traditional family favorites as well as some new and exciting kosher cuisine as well! Davening on shabbat morning will be a beautiful experience following by a plentiful kiddush and shabbat lunch. The rest of shabbat will be filled with enlightening lectures and classes, seudah shlishit and the Kosherica signature Motzei Shabbat Burgers Bar!
On Sunday our guests will arrive back to Athens where you may choose to take some extra time to explore or go straight to the airport and head home. This glatt kosher vacation is one that you will want to come back to again and again and we at Kosherica can’t wait to welcome you aboard!
