Phil Chernofsky
Phil Chernofsky was raised in New York where he was active in Bnei Akiva, and NCSY for many years. As an educator, Phil taught Jewish Studies, math and science at Yeshiva of Central Queens until his Aliyah in 1981. After making Aliyah, Phil joined OU Israel as educational director of the Israel Center. He produces OU Israel's popular Torah publication, Torah Tidbits, and broadcasts a weekly radio show, carried by Israel National Radio. He and his wife, Toni, live in Ramot Eshkol where they enjoy much nachat from their children and grandchildren.
