Ingredients

Quantity 

Sugar

¾ cup

Oil

2/3 cup

Baking powder

2 tsp

Vanilla

2 tsp

Salt

½ tsp

Eggs

2

Flour

2 cups

 

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Prepare a baking sheet with wax paper.

2. In a mixer (or by hand) cream together the sugar and oil.

3. Add the baking powder, vanilla, salt and eggs and mix until just combined.

4. Gradually add the flower and mix until everything is nicely combined.

5. Wet your hands slights and roll out balls of dough and place onto the prepared baking sheet.

6. Slightly flatten cookies using your fingers (make sure to keep wetting them so the dough doesn't stick to your fingers).

7. Top with anything you like - sprinkles, cinnamon-sugar, nonpareils or sugar crystals - whatever you like!

8. Bake for 8-10 minutes until cookies are slightly golden around the edges. They may look slightly underdone. If you prefer a crispier cookie then keep them in an extra 2-3 minutes.
