Chicken Burgers

Delicious and healthy for your next BBQ dinner!

 

 

 

Ingredients

Quantity

Ground white meat chicken

1 lb

Coarse, fine bread crumbs

2 cups

Soy milk (or other non-dairy milk)

½ cup

Grated onion

3 tbsp

Cayenne pepper

¼ tsp

Coarse salt

¾ tsp

Black pepper

 

Olive oil

1 tsp

 

1.     Place the ground chicken in a large mixing bowl.

2.     Use a spatula to fold in the soy milk, ½ cup of the bread crumbs, grated onion, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper. The mixture will be wet and sticky.

3.     Spread the remaining 1 ½ cup of bread crumbs on a sheet pan or large plate.

4.     Divide the chicken mixture into 4 or 5 sections (depending on how large you want your burgers to be).

5.     Use your hands to shape the chicken into patties and then coat them in the bread crumbs.

6.     On a medium skillet &ndash heat the olive oil and fry the patties until they are golden on each side.

7.     Serve on a bun with all the fixings and condiments.
